Sansevieria Masoniana Variegata, or commonly known as the Sansevieria Variegated Whale Fin. A rare semi-succulent plant, extremely easy to care for and are grown as indoor plants in cooler climates.

Whale fins are well known to be super hardy and tough if you give them warmth and good bright filtered light to thrive, although, they will tolerate some shade. They need to be in a well-draining medium - if they are overwatered, they will rot. They hold their water in their leaves. As they grow you will need to add some sand to the medium so they don’t become top-heavy and fall over. Allow them to completely dry out before watering deeply until water drips through the drainage hole. Allow the pot to drain, then discard the water that remains in the saucer. Never allow the soil to become soggy, and never let the pot stand in water. Water sparingly throughout the winter.

HABIT - Upright

LIGHT - Moderately bright or filtered light.

WATER - Drought tolerant, water deeply and then allow to completely dry out between waterings.
