Probably the most exciting new indoor plant that has come to the Australian market in recent years. Zenzii is even more attractive that Gem, being more compact and stylish because of the dark green leaves and short nodes between the leaves, giving the plant a unique shape and character. The thicker bowed leaf stems gives this little Zanzibar that robust look.
Zenzii is slower growing than the Gem and like the Gem thrives on neglect. It doesn't need much water or light. Suitable for 'brown thumbed' people.
A tropical ornamental vine that has aerial roots growing downwards from the stem. These climbers have striking, perforated deeply green leaves. Monstera adansonii can reach up to 10-20 metres with adequate support.
GROWTH - Climbing/Vining
LIGHT - Indirect sunlight.
WATER - Sparingly, but don't let the soil dry out entirely. Water when to inch of soil is dry. Prefers high humidity.
Comes in a 130mm pot.
Stunning variegated form of this old favourite. Saxifraga forms plants up to 15cm across with masses of cascading runners each forming new plantlets which look dramatic in baskets but also makes a great pot plant. Small plantlets are also often used in terrariums.
GROWTH - Running/Trailing.
LIGHT - Bright, indirect sunlight.
WATER - Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
Chain of Hearts is one of my all time favourite house plants, with those amazing wispy strings and those gorgeous heart shaped leaves. They're generally considered to be easy care plants.
Comes in a 140mm hanging pot.
GROWTH - Vining
LIGHT - Bright indirect light that hits the top of soil as well as the leaves.
WATER - They're not technically succulents, but should be treated like one in terms of their watering requirements. Use your finger or a moisture meter to check the soil before watering, and give them water equivalent to one fifth of the pot size only when the soil is dry.
These stunning plants are sought after for their colourfully patterned and intriguingly shaped foliage. Will need some light to keep their leaf colouring, but a bright, indirect light is best.

This amazing Japanese hybrid is also called the Micro Strawberry Begonia. Individual plants will form heads 2 to 3cm across and producing masses of smaller plants around its base making them one of the smallest of terrarium plants. Unlike normal stolinifera this cultivar does not form runners.
Comes in a 60mm pot
GROWTH - Upright/Compact.
LIGHT - Bright, indirect sunlight.

Pitcher Plants, are the most carnivorous plants next to the Venus flytrap.
They grow spectacularly on sunny windowsills. Always protect your plant from draft, extreme heat, and freezing temperatures. Windowsills that have southerly, easterly, or westerly orientations are adequate, the main concern being ample sunlight. Humidity is a negligible factor, with ambient household humidity being more than adequate for most varieties.
LIGHT - Bright filtered light, avoid direct shade
WATER - Keep moist but not soggy.
String of Pearls is a creeping perennial succulent
