Hoya, the porcelain flower or wax plant, is an Asclepiad species of flowering plant in the dogbane family Apocynaceae.  It is a common house plant grown for its attractive waxy foliage and sweetly scented flowers.

Waymaniae is a challenging, highly succulent species requiring less water than most hoya.  Very slow growing and can take a few years to flower  but well worth the effort.  Intermediate to tropical climates.
