A Monkey Tail Cactus is a great plant for beginners. It has long, white, soft, hair like spines and gets large bright red flowers. It looks best in hanging baskets.
The Brain Cactus, also known as the Mammillaria Elongata 'Cristata' cactus, is native to central Mexico. It's a rare form of the Mammillaria Elongata cactus and has a unique, crested shape. Its growth pattern kind of looks like worms or brains, which is how it got the nickname Brain Cactus.

"The Golden Rat Tail Cactus"
This is a cousin to the famous Monkey Tail cactus. This form has thicker, stronger yellow stems that arch outwards rather than cascade. Red/orange flowers appear over warmer months.
Euphorbia succulent varieties are easy to grow and are suited to any well drained soil in full sun. They grow well when there is a layer of brick and charcoal pieces, on top of which sandy loam soil is spread. They need little maintenance. Young plant are happy growing indoors.

A giant form of Brain Cactus producing twisted clumps 15-20cm across in 5-10 years.
This Japanese cultivar produces tight compact stems with short green leaves and will eventually form a tight cluster to 12cm tall. Slow growing but very hardy being able to survive well in most climates.

A highly sought after species due to its attractive and unusual swollen spiny caudex base that will continue to expand as the plant ages. Plants will defoliate in winter and flower on the new growth in spring.
Lanata is a very desirable cactus due to its attractive white hair and upright growth habit. Very slow growing with plants reaching 50-100cm tall in 10-20 years. Specimens over 50 years old can be spectactular. Older plants will form multiple offsets from the base which are difficult to remove.
Pachypodium densiflorum is a caudiciform multi-branched shrublet with a massively swollen trunk that can attain a diameter of up to 2 m and a height of about 70 cm. Its name means literally “dense flowered” which is an apt description of its abundant floral display.
It has many short spiny branches from a fat caudiciform trunk. The trunk is smooth, silver with a light green tint and can attain with great age the height of 70 cm and the diameter of 1 m (or more) at the base. The branches are upright, short, tapered and covered with paired conical spines, the epidermis appears shining silver coloured due to the presence of fine greyish-white felt.

Fairy Castle is a small compact cultivar with a dense clustering habit around an upright stem eventually growing to 30+cm over 2-3 years. Fairy Castle is one of the most popular of all cacti and is easily grown indoors in well-lit areas. If growing near windows it's best to rotate every few weeks.
